HellDame character concept of mine wearing a mask fabricated by Max Steiner Design, from the visual tableau figure drawing event DEVIANTE DRAWING SALON: HELLBOUND I had the wonderful opportunity to guest curate and art direct. The design was inspired by a more traditional concept of a horned demonic character, with some “Hellraiser” visual language added through the use of industrial textures and forms, the suggestion of medical sinew through the stitching, and the implementing of “saw blades.”

The mask is heat-formed acrylic painted with an iron oxidized rusted patina and an aged clear acrylic for the saw blades and dyed leather “stitches.”
